Preparations for a Laser Hair Removal Session
A lot of people dread the thought of having to rise up early to shave and yet want to have smooth, hairless and flawless skin.  Laser hair removal is the best solution in this case. Below are things you should know before attending the session:

• Understand how it works: the light on the laser converts into heat while penetrating the skin. Melanin which is found in the hair follicles will absorb the heat and when this happens, that heat will destroy the hair follicles and prevent the growth of hair in the treated areas.
• Do not stay in the sun one month before a laser hair removal session to avoid a sunburn or having your skin tanned. Laser hair removal cannot be conducted on a skin that has sunburn. You can choose to go through the process during winter so that your skin will be flawless when summer comes.
• Shave the area to be attended to during the laser hair removal session at least one day earlier. Avoid waxing before the session as this will inhibit the visibility of the hair follicles.
• Avoid the use of tanning lotions, spray tans or even tanning beds before the session.
• Ensure that a test patch is done before the process is carried out so that the dermatologist can check to ensure that your skin will not be destroyed by the process.
• You will not see results on your first session; this may take about six sessions of this treatment.
• Depending the area being treated a single session may take between twenty minutes and an hour.
• For best results, be consistent; attend every session you are required to and with time, you will see an amazing transformation.

The laser hair removal is not a comfortable session. You will feel like you are being hit with a rubber band but it is worth the pain. You will not have to go through the boring shaving sessions every once in a while and you will have a perfect looking skin.
