• Cleansing and exfoliating: Clean and exfoliate the client’s face thoroughly and ensure that every makeup and dirt is completely removed. This will help you to see the real condition of the client’s face so that you can determine the kind of treatment she will require.
• Steaming:  You will then stream the client’s face which will help in opening the pores and loosen the blackheads for ease of removal
• After steaming, you will apply an acne softening lotion on the face to make the acne extremely soft for ease of removal. This will ensure that the client will not feel any pain during the extraction process.
• Extraction: You can go ahead and extract the acne from the client’s face; this will be quite easy and your client will be comfortable throughout the entire process.
• After the acne extraction, you will then apply a moisturizer to help in soothing the skin and to restore its natural glow.
• Massage the client’s face to make the facial muscles relax: This will also improve the flow of blood in the facial region which will make the face glow and look younger. Do not use excessive force while massaging as the skin could be sore as a result of the extraction.

If you follow the right procedure and maintain high standards of hygiene, your client will not suffer from any negative reactions after the extraction. An acne facial that is carried out in a dirty environment or using unsanitized tools will lead to another severe breakout of pimples on the client’s face. This will not be good for your spa as you may never see the client again.
